Last weekend a few couples from our life group went to Holden Beach for the weekend. Brian and I both took off work on Friday. We got up early and followed another couples on the four hour car trip to the beach. This was the first time Brian and I had been to the North Carolina Beach. We were lucky enough to be staying in a house really close to the beach. When we got there we put on our suits and head straight for the beach. Brian and Cray were being boys and they dug up a crab, see the pictures below and a investigated several jelly fish that were washed up on shore. They also found these little white clams shelled things(yes I know very technical term) but once they were in the water they would start to dig into the sand. I mostly sat on the beach enjoying the weather or walking the beach. I did happen to get sunburn on my legs. All the boys got sunburn on their backs, they apparently had a hard time putting the sunscreen on their backs. We then went out to dinner at a local restaurant. The food was great except for Brian's potato chips, they tasted really old or something. He wouldn't let me tell the waitress, because for some reason he kept eating them. Even though he complained that they were bad, he still ate them. He must have been really hungry from his beach explorations. After dinner we went back to the beach and hung out while we waited for more people from our group to show up.
